its a SCAM telling you that you sign up to stocks and bonds on the net from a popup on the screen ,when you ask as to how they got your number they try and talk about something els to get you off about ur number and talk about the said stockes and bonds

SCAM Received a call today (Indain as usual) about my Sky broadband being slow and this was a free check. Apparently my router has had many problems and is telling their server that my speed is slow!!!! Wanted to know my download/upload speeds and ping! I am not with Sky He was very slow and retarded When he said it was "completely free as I am a good customer who pays his bills every month" - I asked how much do I pay, he replied give me one moment and them 3 seconds later hung

SPAM guess ? They rang at 08.45 and silent. They there was a click, a background noise, then they hung up. Very annoying. Luckily I’m not old and infirm but this could unsettle an older person.

I am suspicious of this phone number. The man phoning spoke good English with a strong accent and was convincing. He told me he was from AV (antiviral program) and that my recent payment of £149 had not gone through. He offered me a discount policy at £29 for the next year. Re The failed bank payment, the bank itself stopped this money and when I spoke to my bank it was decided that the £149 seemed high for an anti viral program and there was a possibility of fraud. Well spoken Indian man asked for me by name, gave me my address & postcode, said he was from Domestic General and had checked my paperwork and as I had not claimed I can have a discount.
