The call was made to my landline, Telling me that there had been two payments made on my account £300 to Amazon and one other, which wasn't true cos I immediately checked with my phone Bank app and didn't listen to rest of call I just hung up.
SCAM automated message saying I had £600 from my account withdrawn followed by options. Be vigilant.
Said he was Chris my local energy adviser. Told him I was registered with TPS and he should remove my number. He hung up.

Yet another scam call from someone with my details. I asked how she'd got the details and she said "from a database". I asked which database and she said "her job was only to offer an extension to my washing machine guarantee". As I have no such thing anyway, it was easy to know it was a scam. I was called from this number this morning claiming to be from my bank. It was a recorded message and not a ‘live’ caller. I was informed there were two suspect transactions from my account and, if they weren’t from me, I should press 1 on my keypad. I hung up immediately, checked my bank account and saw that the transactions didn’t exist so I assume that this was an attempted scam.
