An Indian sounding gentleman on a very bad line, claimed to be calling me from Currys PCWorld with a promotion to upgrade my cellphone (his term) for no charge, could I just confirm what phone I currently had? The recorded message played so instantly that I missed first 4 words and have no idea who it was. This makes me think is was a group call, so I’ll be blocking it

Scammers pretending to be from Three contacting ex customers of Three for final payments. Threes payment number is 0800 033 8033 so it is close. Three send final bills by email so no need to contact anyone from an 0800 number.

DANGER ! Definitely Spam. Lady with Indian accent as O2 customer service telling me they had received multiple complaints about signal problem. I said I was satisfied with signal coverage. She then tried to give me a number to call back. I challenged her and told her I thought she not not legit. She started arguing. I said a real customer agent would not argue like that. Put down the phone.
