I was just called on this number. Obviously a computerised call as there was a pause before someone with an American accent spoke. Wanted me to confirm a purchase I had made for over £3,000. I put the phone down. SCAM SCAM
Andrew Brown caravans and cars in Leeds. Andrew @sid_shark on Twitter rang late at night threatening me and accusing me of being someone called Tony Bennett. He was drunk.
The person told me they were from sky and it was regarding my internet connection . I told them I would not give out my passwords or be clicking on any links in my computer as too many scammers claiming to be from this company and said if I need to talk to sky I will phone them myself. Then I hung up.
