Then asks to 'Book a Redelivery' (redelivery? Haven't tried once yet!) which will almost certainly ask for card details for payment. OBVIOUS SCAM. IGNORE!!!!

Went through all the comments, I found some painful, while some were funny. My conclusion is most people can still get scammed just because they can’t read in- between the lines. I’ve be victimized. Now I have a resident expert and a professional hacker who helped me recover my funds and so far, it had been worth it. Hackers easily know a bitcoin scam. This number was given in an email supposedly from Google pixel services. the email claimed I had bought services from Google payable through paypal (£599.99). They appear to want me to call this number. I have bought no such services and I will not be calling this number. I think it is a scam.

Phone call purporting to be from Amazon saying prime membership was due, i should press 1 to go to an agent to make payment, they had the wrong amount and the real payment is not due yet, also the call could not be cancelled the electronic voice carried on until the message was over, this very obviously a scam and the bank agrees. This is also the third time they have tried this one pointless!

SCAM Woman with strong foreign accent claimed to be from 'BT technical department' (immediately obvious not genuine) and said they had received notifications that my internet was being used by others fraudulently. Pointed out BT not my provider which she ignored, she then tried to guess some letters from my email to 'send me a verification' and when I said that wasn't my email, accused me of lying!!!! Presumably hoping I'd supply my actual email.

Call was at 6.41am. I rang back - not sure if that was wise - there was a mumbled (male) response, something about 'delivery' was all I could make out even though I asked which company. Told them they'd called a wrong number and hung up, feeling uneasy.

This number called me at 16h33 on Tuesday 11th April 2023. Man with heavy Indian accent claimed to be from Microsoft. Said I'm registered with the Telephone Preference Service so he shouldn't call me. Hung up, but he rang again and asked why I'd hung up. I said I'd already explained why, and hung up. He phoned a third time, and in a stroppy tone asked why I'd hung up. So I hung up AGAIN. For a fourth time, he phoned again. Didn't answer, and blocked his number. Obvious nuisance.
