SCAM This was almost definitely a scam of some kind. The caller spoke with accented English in a location with a huge amount of background chatter. He claimed to be from Carphone Warehouse offering very low prices on iPhone, Samsung and Huawei mobile phones. I do not think it was actually Carphone warehouse, as I have never provided my details to them and I would expect they had a call centre environment that sounded a bit less like the outside of a busy London pub on a sunny evening.

Mark Bates is a specialist Insurance Broker for over 50 s and disabled people. They are a no threat caller if you re not interested ask to be removed from the re caller list. Polite genuine business that I have dealt with and had no problems for a number of years. A no hard sell telemarketer.

Foreign sounding female voice - not very audible- she was trying to explain about an order from Amazon I had paid for but something about the payment had not gone through etc etc. Not sure of the rest but she asked for payment - I have Not ordered from Amazon - she did not know my name so I raised my voice and told her that all this was a SCAM and put the phone down .

Crystal windows have been calling me since November 2018. I told them in November I would not buy from them. I have blocked their number. They are constantly calling me. Most recently 19th,20th and 21st March .

SCAM / SPAM - called purporting to be from BT Openreach about slow internet. I do currently have a case pending about slow net, so believed them at first. Got suspicious when they said they needed me to share my screen with them. When I asked them for a phone number to call them back on to check who they were they hung up. BEWARE.
I don't bother answering numbers I don't know I go on the Internet and check the number out fed up with these if its ppi or pensions 3 or 4 times a day

Just received a call from an Indian sounding chap called Charles . Asked me to confirm if I was receiving a high volume of telemarketing calls, and that he could help. Gave me the 0845 number, and told me to call for a box to plug in to the phone for ?1 something per month. I asked him to hold on for a moment, muted the call, put it on speaker and just left the phone on the desk while I carried on with my work. Everest double glazing marketing number. Maximum price for incompetently installed windows. They didn t give a damn about correcting a front window that was falling apart soon after installation - including the cill put in back-to-front. An additional worry for my father who was dying of cancer. There is nothing too vile that I wouldn t wish on them. I believe dreams do come true.
