Another call from Benefits uk wanting answers to survey, they’re now using another new number as blocked them many times before
called and said router was having problems and would offer £200 as compensation. then when did the bank transfer they made a 'mistake' and transferred £2,000. as a gesture of goodwill they would only ask for £700 back. this was transferred by Moneygram (I know - caught my partner when unwell and not thinking straight). also took over my laptop and remotely accessed who knows what. SCAM. Talktalk will never call you. don't tell the scammers anything. Police and Talktalk aware.

This number has been calling me lots of times over the past weeks. Finally got a 'live person' to speak. He sounded like he was from the Indian sub-continent, asked me if my postcode was correct and my phone number (which he had just rung) was correct, and whether I was between 18 and 75 yrs old. Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 14227180xx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with car accidents, PPI claims, insurance marketing. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new? I really don't answer unknown numbers and don't want to call them back...
