After three calls yesterday about the same thing, all from crooks saying they were from Talk Talk, this man had rung to tell me my router had been compromised, though I did not pay much attention to what he said was wrong with it. I told him what a bad line it was and got him to repeat several times. He said he would call another time but I told him not to bother. I said I knew who it was calling. Fraud - Called left voicemail, robot voice asking for call back about a court order. Called asked who I was speaking with said HMRC. What's your call regarding, they said your tax filing, I said I don't file taxes, then he said what you don't work, not at all? I said no, I don't file taxes. Then I said what department of HMRC are you calling from, he said the tax department (I'm an accountant, there are many many tax departments). I said I didn't believe him, response from him was 'Bitch don't be rude'
