Scam call. For me, from Amazon, but it wasn't. Don't answer, just hang up.

This appeared to be from a Bank, it didnt say which alleging that there had been two suspicious transactions on my card and asking me to press a number on my phone to accept these transactions. The message was recorded.

However when I started the process I immediately suspected it was scam and called them out for being scammer. Had 3 calls recently with the same recording from different numbers. They say they are from my bank, but don't say which one, big red flag. They say l have 2 unusual transactions, including from Amazon. No activity on accounts, obvious scam.

Phone identified number as fraudulent. That's good enough for me. Obviously bottom-feeding scum and not worth engaging with.

Said they were ringing about a warranty for my washing machine, at £8.99 a month. The machine was not the make I have. They wanted account numbers. I told them it was bs and they rang off.. Be warned.
