Received call from this number. Was told is bailiff. I probed more questions at which point the caller hung up. Tried calling back went straight to voicemail. Tried few times after and same thing occured. My advice is to stay away!
Cold called today from this number saying they were given our road traffic accident details by NFU to settle the remainder of money owed to me under a Discomfort payment, even though there was no personal injuries in the accident. Even though I asked the lady why NFU would instruct them to call me to say I am owed money when our claim was completely settled is totally absurd, she continued to say no we are entitled to between £3k-4k as the claim threshold of £350 was exceeded. Identified himself as a Mathew Taylor, claimed to be from a company called Cooper & Sloane, supposedly share analysts for major companies. Offering a "special" share deal. Lots of indirect sales spiel, coercive conversation techniques, leading up to the sting. When challenged to reiterate the purpose of his call, got exasperated muttered "Oh Jesus" and hung up abruptly.
