This number called several times today saying they were Microsoft based in Cambridge. Asked me to put computer on because it had been hacked.
It s a company called Boost energy. I rang the no to check, but didn t engage. They have rung everyday for over 3 weeks now, leaving silences on my answermachine. I won t answer, so expected them to give up, but they don t I m on Telephone preference for a reason! I find this really harrassing.

The call purported to have come from HMRC and instructed that I should press1 to stop court action from being taken against me for taxes owed. Firstly, I do not owe any taxes. Called 4 times in one day! I thought about calling back but glad I didn t! I google every unknown number that calls me now. As of late, I am getting unknown calls every other day. I m not sure who I gave these details to, but no doubt at least my phone number has been sold to scammers and or telemarketers.
