Rude and abusive crypto traders calling saying I had signed up (I hadn’t) they will call me four or five times a day from different numbers always very rude and arrogant
Phoned purporting to be from my bank (spoofed number) . An automated call saying that two unusual transactions had been made on my card , one of £300 to Amazon and another of £400 on a money transfer. Then proceeded to give ‘ press 1’, ‘press 2 ‘ instructions. I just blocked the number. This is a SCAM! AVOID engaging with them!

IPSOS MORI was calling me for polling and survey. They normally held student surveys. They were calling me constantly. And when I did not reply, they started sending email invitations to me. They claimed to be from a national student survey. They knew my name already and were asking for my birthday. They wanted me to participate in their survey. I told them I had already done the survey online, but they said I was lying.

SCAM Someone called “David” called trying to sell me a mobile phone contract. iPhone 13 pro max, 24 months with unlimited data, minutes and texts. For £40 a month. When enquired, came up with nonsense which made no sense. Asked for network provider, my name, and starting asking family names. Of course gave fake names and realised I knew they were scammers. Fraud I enquired about a pension transfer from the Netherlands to UK and cot contacted by Online Mortgage Advisor (OMA) dsiplaying this nr. I have not been further contacted and I can't get in contact with OMA either as the nr is not callable, which is a breach with OFCOM regulations.
Seems a bit scammy. Automated voice but largely unintelligible.

I received an SMS that appears to have been sent by HSBC. This shows an one-time password for a transaction of around £983 and asks me to urgently call this number (03309124638) if I do not recognise this transaction. BEWARE THIS IS A SCAM! I have called HSBC (on their true number and not the fake number mentioned above) and they have confirmed what was obvious to me: THIS IS A SCAM. Your account is safe and has not been compromised. IGNORE THE TEXT MESSAGE and do NOT call that number. That's all!

Scam call purportedly from bank advising of fraudulent credit card transactions which they are blocking. The caller wants you to input a code which they text to you. DO NOT DO SO. If you do they will, no doubt, get access to your account. I put a block on the call number via my mobile phone provider and sent an email to the bank's security dept informing them of the scam.
