Automated call to my defunct number that is now used nearly exclusively by non-customers (scams, junk callers, etc).
Person speaking was not clear, believed to be a spam caller.
SCAM I don’t know anyone from London so I avoided this phone number thinking it’s a scam and also blocked it.

It was an automated call claiming to be fromAmazon about rogue orders on my account. I have never had a call from Amazon about thise things. I didnt select any options and the number went dead.
This was a recorded message from a number purporting to be a bank (which bank not specified) and telling me that 2 dodgy transactions had just been recorded. One payment to Amazon, and one international payment via an unspecified website. Obviously crap, but a potential cause of anxiety nonetheless.

Went through all the comments, I found some painful, while some were funny. My conclusion is most people can still get scammed just because they can’t read in- between the lines. I’ve be victimized. Now I have a resident expert and a professional hacker who helped me recover my funds and so far, it had been worth it. Hackers easily know a bitcoin scam. Saying that was from Virgin Media, asking to access my computer because my landline was corrupted. It was the 4th call today, different numbers but same story and each time they hang up when I told them I am recording the conversations. I had this type of phone call before and I checked with virgin media and they said is fraud, do not give any information because they do not contact customers with such matter.
