A very dangerous number claiming that I was going to be arrested for tax fraud, knew instantly it was a scam so I challenged the person calling. Man claimed to be named Adam Smith, questioned him and he instantly hung up on me.

Get calls every day from this number on my house phone normally while I m out at work so can t answer but on the times I have been home to answer (normally 8.30am on weekends!) they ask for some random person although I ve told atleast 10 different people they have the wrong number they still phone despite saying they will take the number off the system. It's a scam offering a discount card for all major supermarkets and once you give your age group they told me I was also eligible for free return flight tickets and a week in a European villa. Catch - needed my 16 digit credit/Debit card number to place a penny charge to authenticate who I was. Needless to say I did not provide.
I have called 111 service today and this was a ring back.

SCAMSaid they were calling from carphone warehouse and offering me discount on new plan. They asked what network I was on. When I queried where they got my details from he said my network provider gave it to them. I replied saying that if my network provider gave them my details then they should know what network I am on. They immediately hung up
Said he was from BT and they are about to disconnect my internet because I had apparently downloaded such bad viruses that it was affecting their network, lol. He said he can show me on my computer. I asked him to give me my BT account number. He started to get agitated and said he cannot do that over the phone. So I asked him to tell me my address and he said F*** you and hung up.
