SCAM... I've looked up this number on other 'who called' sites & some folks have had the same calls & they've stated it's a scam...be aware folks!

SCAM Called my landline at 15.01 on 1 June - female voice saying something like "I am the supervisor for this area "and something about an attic ... I asked her to slow down as I could not hear her properly - she went on talking very quickly and when I said "Stop and tell me what you are talking about" She then seemed to bang the phone down.

There was automated call advising me there was a criminal case being raised for tax evasion

Rang me and checked my name and the proceeded to tell me he wanted to talk to me about my computer I told him I suspected he was trying to defraud me and put the phone down.

Robotic voice claiming to be from HMRC saying I was being investigated for tax fraud and press 1 to be connected. No thanks.

SCAM Called saying they were from BT and my internet speed had been reported as an issue. A technician are working on it, but it was software on my router that was wrong. Got me to look up internet speed. Gave them fake results, which would have been top drawer, to be told they were not good Passed me to another technician to get me to open windows run and enter 'www.anydesk.com'. That scam has been doing the rounds for years. Told them I worked in IT, and they hung up!

Fraud. Female automated voice claiming to be "bank security". Said two new charges appeared on my account. Hundreds of pounds on prepaid phone card and something for Mexico. Press 1 or 2 to to speak to support staff. Laughably worded but still evil and some will fall for it.

Pretending to be an automated call to query transactions on your credit card, requesting to press a key to confirm or cancel the transactions. Left to answer machine so don't know what it does if you respond.

Wanting to know what my cover was and who it was being left to and that they could lower my payments and increase my cover. Asked them who they were.phinong on behalf of! Not my life insurance company ???? contacted my insurance company who conformed they do not use brokers and to always use them direct for anything

A Asian guy called saying I have been awarded a 30% discount for being a loyal customer O2 customer. i Left O2 over a couple of years ago, so I checked the number out online while he was talking and the number was listed as a scam call, so knew it was a scam. He said he was going to pass me to customer service. I then spoke to the next Asian guy who said he would send me a message and to except it (phone malware). It urges you to press 1 to have further details about the case before they issue an arrest warrant. Block number and report. It is so funny how the UK govt allows number spoofing and can not get to know who uses these numbers. It is no brainer that o2 could identify who uses this spoofed numbers.
