So far I ve received two calls from this number within 24hrs after an online enquiry for broadband & phone with EE. I was just "shopping around" for a better deal. I don t think I ll bother to look any further now if this is what s going to happen as a result, with endless and unauthorised telesales calls. An Indian voice, named James !, confirmed my details claiming to be from the Telephone Preference Service and asked if I was still getting unwanted calls. I confirmed that I still get these and he informed me that I needed to update my details with them as it was about to expire. He then asked if I paid by direct debit - at this point I realised this to be a scam and ended the call.

This number calls every so often asking for Mark and also sends texts offering a free laptop. I tried telling them they had the wrong number before I found out it was a marketing ploy. Just tell them to f**k off now!

Received an International Call, from an Asian man, who claimed to be calling from the MOJ, as ?3,452 was mine to be claimed. I was to call 02081332009 with the ID number he gave me. I didn t call it but info online suggests they require you to pay for taxes in order to release the funds. This could be anything from ?90 to ?250, via a Ukash voucher. They would then take the serial number of the voucher and cash it, and you d never hear from them again.
