Hi I have replied for a loan online and I keep getting calls from this number quick lain finance they said they were called I told them I don t want to go through with the loan they says that they have my details and all my bank account details from the company I applied with stupid I know but hay ho let s not slate me for doing so! This number was not answered by me but an automated voicemail message was left. The call purported to have come from HMRC and instructed that I should press1 to stop court action from being taken against me for taxes owed. Firstly, I do not owe any taxes. SCAM - has to be as I have no contacts in the north of England and the number, once blocked, is followed within a couple of hours by another similar number coming from the same location. This has happened to me 4 times now - the same pattern of one number followed a couple of hours later by another. AVOID as it can only be a scam.
