Asked for acc details, put phone down and immediately rang my appliance insurance company and they said they havent been taken over by smart insurance. Fraud automated call saying that transactions are being charged by Amazon then an option of numbers to press.
This was a recorded message from a number purporting to be a bank (which bank not specified) and telling me that 2 dodgy transactions had just been recorded. One payment to Amazon, and one international payment via an unspecified website. Obviously crap, but a potential cause of anxiety nonetheless.
