An Asian gentleman called apparently on behalf of a company called Housing Couldnt understand the second part of the company name Claimed that they helped tenants with repairs like mould etc He knew my name but didnt seem to know much else seeing as I am not currently a tenant anywhere
Scam loan company asking about an application I made, advised the caller that no application was made and asked him to have my number removed from the system, he instead tried to convince me to apply for a loan instead.
Apparently I have a returned letter from HMRC and they are pursuing legal proceedings… don’t think so !

Fraud Automated call allegedly from Amazon Prime saying contract is renewing for another year. Wants you to press 1 to be transferred to someone if you want to cancel, most likely to get banking and name and address info.

This was a call from a person saying they were from Virgin Media reporting that our internet had been hacked on numerous occasions to cut a long story short I was asked to download the TeamViewer App onto my iPad so they could “put everything right” they were very convincing and I foolishly parted with some money before my switched on son overheard me and hung up the call, I have deleted the app and contacted by bank to report the “Scam” I wanted to forewarn everyone if they receive a call hang up immediate

Recorded voice claiming to be Amazon and saying I'd been charged £95 for Prime, and to dial '1' if I didn't agree. A quick check with the Amazon website confirmed this to be BS. We wonder where dialling '1' would go and at what cost?

I had missed call on my mobile. I phoned the number from a land-line, and at first there was no answer. It went straight to Vodafone answerphone. I phoned a second time, and a man with a foreign accent answered. I asked who it was but he just said "You phoned me!" He then asked what company I was phoning from. He was quite rude and abrupt. Anyone who is entitled to any DWP money will automatically have it deposited into their bank account and upon researching this, I was told that DWP will NEVER text or ring you to inform you of your entitlements or ask for any details.
