Called about bitcoin, and said my number was associated with bitcoin purchase about 4 years ago. I did not even have this number that long ago. Sounded very shady, when I questioned what it was about they rushed to hang up saying that they would be in contact when they could prove it.
Number 02071124802 phoned me and said they was from start up loans. www.startuploans.co.uk and wanted me to transfer them £58 for the loan to be secured under the insurance. They provided me with a person called Jamin bank details which straight away is strange for a company. I was told it was the managers details as money transferred to the company always bounces back. Returning the call has a message that says "thank you for calling In Credit Management". They have no website and call from multiple different numbers, as such this is likely a scam. Block the number. If it was a genuine collection agency then they would at least have an internet presense and would not operate out of an oversees call centre.

Claim to be from BT Openreach about issues with our router. Shame we’re not with that company. She kept insisting that even though we weren’t with them she needed to tell us about these issues with her router. When I challenged her about the fact that it was a scam and how could she live with herself and that BT had nothing to do with our router and couldn’t see our router she stuck to her guns that she was legit and needed to tell us what was happening with our router. I just hung up.
