He said he was ringing about the cover on the washing machine at (gave my address), he said it had expired and he just wanted to check if the machine was still in good working order. When I refused to tell the man if I was a home owner or a tenant, he asked me to stop wasting his time and tell me if I was F...ING interested. He then called me an F...ING W..RE and said that he would make sure I had 10 nuisance calls to replace this one I should have answered. Didn’t take the call on my landline but they left a pre recorded message informing me that my card had been used in a foreign transaction twenty minutes before and that I should press 1 to stop it. I rang the number from my mobile a couple of times and each time got the busy tone. I reckon it’s a poor attempt at a scam.
