They are pretending to be from HRMC and say that there is a warrant out for your arrest, as you haven't paid tax for 2 years, then ask you for National insurance number and bank details.
Warning about HMRC legal action against me. Disconnected - had a few identical phone calls on the same day from random mobile numbers.
ActiveQuote - Private Health insurance. Call center They call at renewal time, presumably so they can get another commission. I chose my existing provider from a comparison website and don't need any "advice" to renew with them. Obviously, if you keep change providers any pre-existing medical conditions won't be covered. You can supposedly email compliance@activequote.com to update your preferences. I haven't tried it yet, but it should stop the calls.
