So this number comes up for a Polish restaurant Folk House Zakopane in London. Well they'd have no reason to be calling people out of the the blue and 'Max' claimed he was calling from Carphone Warehouse.

SCAM Recorded message in female robovoice mentioning HRMC, threat of lawsuit for tax evasion etc. Hung up before message gave press 1 option for advice.

Said he was was from Amazon and an order had been placed on my card for a iPhone at £799 and was it my order. Had my card been compromise?. Couldn't/wouldn't tell me what sort of card it was. Denied he was a filthy f******* scammer. Oh yes he was.

Recorded voice telling of £300 and £1000 having been taken from our bank account, one relating to Amazon. They asked for button pressing, which led to us hanging up.

Fed Ex scam. Haven’t even ordered anything. Picked up for 1 second and it ended, leaving a voicemail in both English and Chinese, saying something about 2 parcels and press different numbers for different enquiries, supposedly so your voicemail service calls them back when you press.

rang this number believing it to be PayPal, I now know it wasn't. HE HAD HACKED INTO MY ACCOUNT GAVE ME ALL THE INFORMATION TO SOUND LIKE IT WAS PLAUSIBLE BUT I BECAME SUSPICIOUS WHEN ASKED FOR CARD DETAILS. DO NOT RING THIS NUMBER

Some person claiming to be from o2 offering me a 40% discount on my monthly phone bill.......due to covid 19!!!! I played along for a couple of minutes & they sent text message codes which someone could genuinely assume was from o2 as they had security warnings advising not to give the code out etc but when I said I was going to run her through some security questions & asked her the 1st line of my address they hung up. 01425402443 Has got to be scammers. Number unknown to me. Called my landline today. Pre-recorded message with Female american voice. Said that my Bank card had been used twice today and if it was not me gave me the stale ring 1 or ring 2 options. Have not called them back and have no intention of doing so. Beware are SCAMMERS after Bank details.

SCAM. They say they are ringing from Barclays Bank and tried to get me to go into the app to activate a code. After I said I wasn't happy doing it and that I would ring them back, they rang off. I have since rang Barclays and they hadn't called me. SO PLEASE BEWARE!!
