I replied and said it was raining in London, to which he said that he likes rain so it is fine. I called him a liar, he hung up. Scam.

If this was my bank they would identify themselves as such, and offer data to prove this. This is likely a scam, and best thing to do is hang up. A genuine caller would then call you back, and actually speak with you. DO NOT PRESS ANY BUTTONS ON YOUR PHONE JUST HANG UP

Looks like another Scam or Fraud as I'm not due any delivery's and the Post Office leave a card through your door when they can't get an answer, also I was in the whole day, I have reported the text message and number to the Ofcom scam text number: 7726 must be the 7th number I've reported now since I found the number to report scams to. I had a call from 01135190541 and my phone said potential fraud. When I knocked it off, I had a phone call straight after from 01135190548. That said suspected spam, so I knocked it off. Straight after that, I had this phone number call me, but it knocked itself off. My phone said suspected spam too. I'm blocking these numbers. Don't answer them.
This number is used by an Oven-Cleaning service - I tried to use them a couple of years ago but they would never come when I wanted them to. After getting my money back from the bank I told them that I did not want their services any more. Since then I have received literally hundreds of calls, all saying that they would like to confirm a time and date for their visit - I have asked them to stop but they are relentless. I have also blocked various numbers, at least 20 but they still call.

Although local to me, this is a scam. Told me two amounts were being taken from account and to press a key if I wanted to proceed.
Caller said my bank account had 2 lots of unusual activity and to press 1 to cancel the transaction. I put the phone down.

Usual asian call center thicko scammer, claiming to be from social housing repair team, ffs, how thick can you get, if you're going to try scamming someone it has to be a believable company and the above certainly isn't that. They don't like being called liars either.
Hung up as soon as I answered. Potential phishing for active numbers? I'm not sure, but looking at the other reports I'm not risking it.
Very odd. Lady said she was doing research on behalf of a US charity into healthcare and no personal data would be taken. Asked how she got my number and she said it was 'randomly generated' by a computer. Very odd and certainly not into giving my views on our amazing NHS to a country that wants to bloody buy it off us!!
Constant calls with slight variations on the number. I've been called 3 times today already. One call on my mobile yesterday and one on land line. I was being offered an inspection of insulation in my loft. Number is now blocked on mobile phone.
