SCAM- said I had been in a road traffic accident when I asked where they had got my details from they asked me to wait and someone else came on the phone. They told me the same. I asked where they had got this information from and they asked my why I needed to know. They refused to tell me and when I asked what details they held about me they put the phone down. I was called just now by a woman with an Indian accent saying she was from Openreach and that she believed I should be getting download speeds of over 40mbs. She asked me to do a speed test which I did and got 19mbs. I asked how I would know she was genuinely from Openreach. She handed me over to her supervisor. He tried to convince me he was genuine and asked my press Ctrl Windows buttons on my keyboard so he could improve my internet connection speed. I again challenged whether he was from BT Openreach. H
Silent Number. I called back only after checking the number's history on whocalledmeuk. No connection, silent line. I have added this to my Spam list. Probably just one of the "your BT Business landline is going to the cloud" pitches.
