Pretending to be from BT Openreach and they claimed they were getting error connections and wanted to check my router connections. When I questioned the originality of the call they immediately terminated the call.
Said they were Barclays but would t give any information until I gave my details to this random person at this random number. Ridiculous obviously declined and asked them to write instead they haven t, not suprised. Do not hand your details over the phone ask them to write to you and remove your contact number from their system.

I answered the phone to a confident sounding male who I knew was trying to sell something as he began with the usual "I hope I find you well this afternoon".
