Asian guy named David,Asked for my mum as he was her grandson, giving 01619326141, to call him back. Asked what he was doing in Manchester(recognised dialling code)as i thought he lived in Liverpool. Told me he just moved. Kept him on phone for 5 mins before telling him that that would make him my son that i knew nothing about. Said that couldn t be possible, he then said why not was i impotent. Told him i got it cut off in an accident 45 years ago then he hung up, lol.s

Recorded messages about making a claim (PPI I think) repeatedly on an almost daily basis. I ve looked at Google streetview on the location of this site indicates but there s nothing obvious. Would love to know who they are so I can start calling them for no apparent reason repeatedly. I ve been registered with the TPS since 2003. I ve called the number back and there s a recorded message. I m not risking pressing any buttons to unsubscribe as I ve heard you can end up on a premium rate line.

Called saying I needed more info on regulations regarding my bank account which I was changing , I though it was the same person from the bank calling me back. Then realised ban...

This number is ao.com. They ring it when you ve placed an order in the pretence of confirming delivery details etc. In fact, their sole purpose is to sell you their costly insurance cover for the items you ve bought. No new information re delivery details is provided, they just repeat your order details. These are unsolicited scripted insurance sales calls and as such a form of harassment. They don t leave a message when they ring so that you ring back and incur the cost of the call. Very shoddy behaviour.

They say they are calling about the miss-selling of payment protection insurance. I first got the calls in early May when i guess they were just checking whether the random digit diallings were live numbers and saving them into a list. Now they are selling the list or carrying out surveys themselves. This needs to stop. I know people who work in call centres doing this type of thing. It s a slimey business.

Untrustworthy scale - 10! Computer scam! Have been called at least five times in as many days. Different person each time (one time a woman, the rest were men). Some VERY aggressive. Have told them in no uncertain terms (!) that I know it is a scam and that they are NOT calling from Microsoft and requested they never call my number again. Received a couple of calls from this number. It s Vanquis calling about supposed late payments and debt. It s one thing to call if the person actually has debt, but quite another if the person hasn t. What s more, they call at all hours and quite frequently so it s bothering on harassment!

Said there had been a fraud on my debit card of £600 for an overseas account and offered help to cancel it. I put down the phone.

Told them I was busy, said they would call back, so I blocked the number. They have called every day since using different number. Not genuine as I already donate.
