This call was a follow-up call from the Met Police after I reported a theft via their 101 non-emergency number. They repeated to me details from my 101 call, so I have no doubt it was the police. Called asking if I had life insurance and wanted to discuss some changes to regulations. They wanted me to tell them is I had life insurance now or in the past...which I obviously didn t divulge, then hung up! The caller had a very strong eastern European accent and was very difficult to understand.

Pretending to be from National Insurance Security, saying your NIN been compromised and threatening legal action if you don't contact them with your details right away. This is a FRAUD, beware! I had daily hang up calls from them then eventually spoke to a human who wanted to do a 20 min financial questionnaire but gave me the Market Research Society phone number so I said if they didn t take my name/number off their data base that I d report them to the MRS. I haven t heard from them since.
