Received a couple of calls from this number - no person on the other end!

Recorded message about a new boiler. Registered with TPS so don t know how they keep getting through. Pressing 9 to opt out does not work. How can they be stopped?

I have been investigating this company myself for a number of years following a previous company trading under the same style. I do know they used to be a company called Lombard Legal who were based in liverpool and the man behind this was christian carney who employed his staff as directors. Receiving these calls everyday and I m getting pretty hacked off! Pressed 9 on many occasions to opt out, still phoning me so press 2 to speak to someone so many times and told will be removed. Still waiting and in meantime still getting phonecalls. On TPS which is very annoying

American voice saying that our broadband would be disconnected in next 24 hours. Realized it was a scam and we ended the call.

Yes this number is AO.com and yes they do know what you ordered. However this is the Sales end of their organisation so BEWARE (Its probably even a separate company just trading under the same name) . They are calling on the pre-text of your order with AO.com but are very aggressively trying to sell you appliance breakdown cover! Their script is well rehearsed leading you to believe they re on the service side of your purchase and calling about further delivery information. Try ringing them on this numb

Rang twice leaving blank voicemail messages (probably automated caller). Called back, line rings once then goes engaged.

Called today missed ,it. Constantly busy on call back. Likely sales scam.

Caller knew my surname, when I asked where he got my number he said from a data base. When I continued to question him he became angry and told me to stop wasting his time!!

Call from this number, guy said he was from TalkTalk, I queried this and said I thought he was lying, he hung up. Believe it to be scammers.

I received an email from Amy Pearce who is a recruitment consultant for sb millers inviting me to work for them. I Was immediately suspicious and a check on Google confirmed my suspicions. A Warning to everyone please check carefully such emails offering employment and if you are the least bit suspicious CHECK IT OUT FIRST BEFORE CALLING.

Knew my name and congratulated me for being entitled to a PPI refund.

Automated call claiming to be from HMRC due to fraud on 'my account' with the threat of immediately being arrested if I didn't continue with the automated call - hung up as I find this highly unlikely.

Got a call on my mobile. I answered and no-one replied so I hung up.
