I recently received a call from a Debt Help service and I must say that I was extremely impressed with the professionalism and expertise of the representative who assisted me. The representative was courteous and empathetic, and took the time to listen to my financial concerns and understand my unique situation. Very dangerous number ,they say they are calling from amazon and stating that an order of £749 ,then they ask what phone I am using and number.
Housing maintenance scam? Called them back several times and calls were answered by different people each time. They then called me back and asked for my wife by her first name. They said they were calling people who rented council property and asked if this was still the case with my house......which is a private house and always has been. Now blocked.

This call came in on my landline, if I don't recognise the number I let the answerphone pick up. A recording told me that my Internet was going to be switched off and to press 1 to speak to someone. This is an obvious scam as they didn't mention the name of my ISP. They would only communicate be email. People would panic if they received this and possibly get caught out.
I was asked if I had applied for a job they were advertising through Total Jobs.
