An indian accented woman came on the line "Hello, this is Nancy calling from Amazon". I interupted her and said"No you're not, don't lie" and she hung up. Yet another scam call!

SCAM RoboCall - claiming to be from HMRC Customs regarding an ongoing claim against me ... Press 1 to speak to an operator Pressed 1 and call was answered by distinct asian male voice with "HMRC how may I help you...?" I replied - "You phoned me, what can I do for you?" and they hung up! FAKE BE AWARE
The usual fake "bank" call about two payments from Amazon and somewhere else. I never buy from Amazon out of principle.

I am in Greece and have a Greek mobile. I had a missed call from this number. As we have UK-based clients I called the number back and the bakery had no idea what I was talking about! I have come across this before with UK numbers, can a third party somehow hijack a landline number?

Early morning call; the caller claimed to be from amazon asking about an iPhone order(never made) and said someone must have used my details. They asked if I was on an Android or iPhone, or to go to google on chrome to search for 'Anydesk' ( this App is for remote access, so I refused to download it,) when they realized I understood what it was they hung up. Had a call from a male from this number yesterday asking about my Covid vaccination status and what life insurance I had. I told him that I was not willing to disclose this information to him and he got quite annoyed so I put the phone down. Have had another call from the same number this morning about debt management from what sounded like the same person but he used a different name. I told him I wasn't interested and stopped the call. Number is now blocked.
