I have been receiving calls about accidents 18/03/19 - 1 time 16/03/19 - 1 time 15/03/19 - 2 times 14/03/19 - 4 times - caller: Unknown
claimed to be from the bank informing me there were 2 transactions made on my card and to press 1 to confirm. I obviously didn't !!

Maria Wilson from BT Openreach, telling me my IP address has changed from private to public. Very insistent that I was in high danger. Told me she was calling from Hammersmith, London - on a Cardiff number?? Obviously a scam, knew that from the word go but kept stringing her along for 10 mins before I put the phone down on her.

However when I started the process I immediately suspected it was scam and called them out for being scammer. Said they were the Energy Advice Centre, offering to come and review my loft insulation for free and may be able to fix issues as part of government scheme (may be The Great British Insulation Scheme, which is a legitimate scheme). Didn't agree a time for them to come so couldn't say if the company is any good

Didn't call me by name at the start of the call, and later asked for bank details. This is irrelevant to my satisfaction with BT which is what the call was supposedly about.
