they sent me an email claiming i will be charged £375 for Norton antivirues renewal. I called them they said they will need to take me through the process of cancellation which involved me being on the computer to fill in the cancellation form. Received call from busy overseas call centre claiming to be BT. When I pointed out that yesterdays call was reported as a fraud to the police she hung up. Yesterdays call exactly same script but from 01724956685 they are hacking into or falsely generating a UK number. It is the role of BT to put a stop to this nonsense?

SCAM Claimed to be from BT and asked. Indian gentleman telling me that my internet line was not performing and asked me to read the numbers from the hub. Told him that I did not think that he was from BT and he persisted and asked again. Rang off when I asked him if he thought that I was idiot.

I've been getting at least 2 calls a day from these numbers that are one digit less than UK mobile numbers. I have let them all ring off, then blocked them but just get slightly different ones every day. Very annoying.
Persistent calling. Claims to be Vodafone and offering free rewards to sign up for a new plan, however the second you decline they immediately hang up. Can t say I trust that very much.

SCAM text message received from this number claiming to be from HSBC. Message states it detected new device used for HSBC access and to click on link provided to confirm device. Can't think why a bank would use a mobile phone number to text messages to it's customers. I'm not even a customer of HSBC and the location map of the number shows it in the middle of a field of nowhere!

Cold scamming re accidents.

Scam saying there PayPal said I had 2 unlawful payments go out and wanted me to confirm then they sent texts apparently from the bank but looked nothing like it . I got suspicious and put the phone down and found £1000 taken out my account . Then they persistently called me for days on random numbers very dangerous

SCAM call saying from HMRC
SCAM I got an automated female voice stating it was bank security. £300 was to pay Amazon and £1100 was by bank transfer. I got the exact same phonecall yesterday from another number. I was to press 1 to speak to someone if I hadn't made these transactions. I have been told by my bank that if anything like this was to happen the bank would notify me with the bank's name and a the name of whoever I was talking to as soon as I answered the phone. They would never phone with an automated message.
