SCAM Indian caller with poor English said they were from a company called Reclaim and a claim that I had made had been successful and they had £300 and something money ready to pay me. I told them I had no such claim and they had the wrong number and I hung up.

I could press one number to speak to an adviser and another to contest it. I did neither as it was clearly a scam. (01615530059) i was called by this number at 19:05 on the 19th April 2023, when i answered got a noise from background then they hung up, when i called back got a recorded message with an american accent saying "your call is important to us, please hold the line and an advisor will be with you shortly" so i just hung up

Just got a call from this number. A computer generated voice allegedly from Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs saying that a letter had been returned to them undelivered and that legal proceedings would commence... At that point I hung up. I would assume that HMRC would have real people working for them, particularly if it was something legal.
Claimed to be carrying out a survey, but when asked refused to give any details about what the survey was in connection with. Hung up and blocked the number.
