SCAM - initial recording warned my electric was going to be shut off in a few minutes. When I transferred to a "representative" it was what sounded like an Indian man. He asked my name and verified my address. Funny thing is, my electric bill is in a family members name. He told me the "balance" and the amount was incorrect because I have my bill in front of me and an a real call wouldn't give me info since the account isn't in my name without other info. Scam call purportedly from bank advising of fraudulent credit card transactions which they are blocking. The caller wants you to input a code which they text to you. DO NOT DO SO. If you do they will, no doubt, get access to your account. I put a block on the call number via my mobile phone provider and sent an email to the bank's security dept informing them of the scam.

SCAM This automated call purports to be from LLOYDS BANK FRAUD DEPT reporting fraudulent activity on a credit card, they ask you to press any number to be put in touch with their team. IT IS A SCAM The person they named left here over 9 years ago and has updated her contact details with LLOYDS each time she moved. The question I would like answered is if LLOYDS know they have detected fraudulent activity on a card, why don’t they stop it?

SCAM Indian caller with poor English said they were from a company called Reclaim and a claim that I had made had been successful and they had £300 and something money ready to pay me. I told them I had no such claim and they had the wrong number and I hung up.

Fraud I was called informing me that it was from VISA & I had two recent payments on my card: one for £300 & the other for £1100. I have neither.

Indian man who claimed to be from EE then claimed to be calling on behalf of all major mobile carriers and listed Virgin, O2, Vodaphone etc, demanded repeatedly my phone bill. Sounded hostile and claimed to be offering a 40% discount. The sound of chatter could be heard in the background. Block this number. The British government really needs to do more to safeguard citizens from whatever fraud they had planned.

Have done my research and investigated and found out it's something to do with a Crypto currency scam!!! I have never got involved in crypto currency and unsure how they had access to my number. But please everyone be aware that it's a scam and if you're into crypto currency do not have anything to do with this number or similar. Be safe

I have already reported this number. It is the dialling code owned by mobile provider Hutchison 3G UK Ltd. I do not know the ID of the phone number 874428 other than what garbled message I've heard suggests it may be from India. I'm unable to make a connection but Hutchinson's have an Indian call centre; from a limited number of reviews it seems Hutchinson's don't have a very good reputation as a provider of services.

As he couldn't pronounce the names of the schools correctly that didn't really help his cause Told him we'd never spoken before to which he quickly replied "ah right ok leave it with me" and then promptly hung up
