Recorded message claiming that my order from Amazon had been processed and that several hundred pounds had been charged to my card. Also claimed that if I had not made the order to press 1 to speak to customer services. Obviousl a scam so I hung up. DO NOT PRESS 1.

This phone number is a scam. But sounds very convincing as it is a well spoken English person. I fear that trusting elderly people WOULD fall for this scam. They pretended to be Domestic & General wanting me to take out further policies. BLOCK this phone number, as I did....

This phone number has been an issue with my house phone. This number has appeared on my VM bill for the moths of Oct, Nov,Dec,Jan ,Feb and March before I realised I had not made the call. It appears every 12 hours as a call that lasts less than 1 minute and each call is charged at 39 pence . Does not sound a lot until you add it up over the period of time which then accounts for over £60.00.

SCAM Told me it was the royal mail and they wanted to send me an invoice for £1.55 for a packet with no postage. I asked how they got my number and they said the delivery office gave it to them. The supposed packet was in London and I am in Somerset. I called her bluff and said the delivery office did not have my number and she then hung up. They did not have an English accent.

Said they where from Scottish Power and needing to update my banking details. Asked for card details for direct debit. Didn't make sense hung up and they called a further 3 times. Watch put people

I was caught out by this today. They claimed to be calling from O2. Luckily, I realised after the call ended and was able to change my account details before any damage was done. The scammers knew all of my details - full name, address, email address, how much I'm billed each month - even my security question. They were very convincing. Spoke to a bottom feeder on the end of this phone. He was abusive and rude. When I asked who he was he kept giving a nonsense name. When I asked to remove my number he pressed for more of my details. This is one of many numbers (the last digit keeps changing) Scumbags - share nothing with them
