Scam caller acting as Currys saying they were giving customers free mobile phone upgrades and claimed to of been calling from London despite it being a Cardiff number. This guy called me about 1-2 months back under a different name and claimed it wasn’t him when I clearly remember the exact voice

If this was my bank they would identify themselves as such, and offer data to prove this. This is likely a scam, and best thing to do is hang up. Sounded suspect to me from an unknown company wanting to talk about my broadband. Took ages to respond when I answered which usually means they are calling multiple numbers and then nebulous about answering why they were calling. Be wary.
