Fraud This number is being used in an attempted fraud. I received a letter purporting to come from Lloyds Bank referring to a conversation that had not taken place and asking me to complete and sign a form giving details of my back account, sort code and memorable wo. The letter looks genuine, uses a genuine Lloyds address and gives this number to call with questions.

Guy introduce himself saying he was contacting me as i was on a list to receive a refund due to bank charges. He asked me lots of questions about who ive had loans from and who ive had credit cards with. I said im sorry this doesn t sound right to me...he got very irritated and told me to check the number it is a recognized BT number at a registered address. SCAM Claimed to be from BT and asked. Indian gentleman telling me that my internet line was not performing and asked me to read the numbers from the hub. Told him that I did not think that he was from BT and he persisted and asked again. Rang off when I asked him if he thought that I was idiot.

Fraud - I think? This number rang my home landline (I couldn't reach it, I'm disabled). - I did 1471 + 3 - the number was dead. Google didn't find it (but found a few close variations from Southern American countries, not anyone I know then, (we're in UK). This number doesn't ring when dialed on landline or my mobile, (but rang me a good 1/2 minutes)? I checked & checked it again. - How's it possible? - Obviously some kind of "con", "scam" ?!

Presumably a cloned number Rude lady with foreign accent overriding my claim that we can't have a problem with openreach as we are with virgin fibre. Not sure what she actually wanted from us as I told her not to be so rude and she put the phone down.

Pretends to be from Talk Talk technical department knows all your details I have been dealing with talk talk to repair an ongoing fault and get daily calls from this number first a silent call followed by being harassed and abusive language is used when I refuse as soon as I block one number the use another and won t give up. I've been getting at least 2 calls a day from these numbers that are one digit less than UK mobile numbers. I have let them all ring off, then blocked them but just get slightly different ones every day. Very annoying.
