Auto call, said from hm revenue and to press 1 to connect to a agent, when I said about it the 'agent' hung up on me.
Called said they were from Curry’s calling about a contract. Probably a scammer as I don’t have any with curry’s. Blocked. Inidian lady asking in broken English. Scammer.
Scam call, caller talks about non existent washing machine policy in this case. They also claim that the number was given to them when the policy was taken out by the phantom policy holder.

This sounds very dodgy from the start but I played along, chatting with a lady with a foreign accent. It's eventually got to the stage where she asked me for my bank account and sorting code, at which point I asked her a very personal question. She then swore at me and hung up. She had mentioned postcode lottery, and assured me that I had won a European holiday and £399 in cash at one point she said the company was called something like travel and leisure.

Called today. Recorded voice claiming to be from my broadband provider and they will be terminating my service due to suspicious traffic. Unable to disconnect the call till I had pressed the disconnect button several times and even after the voice stopped an obvious line was still open even though I could dial. If they call you ensure you have cleared the call before calling your Internet provider or use a different phone so they don't record your details.

CARE - Scam number - automated call purporting to be from Inland Revenue - threatening cancellation of National Insurance Number due to apparent illegal activity - financial threats got stronger during the call if no action taken - instructed to press "1" to be connected to "customer service officer".
