07477140852. Had 4 calls today from 074771..... This was the first time there was an automated call at the other end purporting to be from HMRC asking me to press 1 because I hadn’t replied to them so they would start legal proceedings. Obviously a scam but worrying as I contacted the HMRC yesterday regarding tax relief and HMRC are one of the few organisations that use my number on a phone that is only used for verification purposes and not my main phone number used for day to day stuff. 01425402443 Has got to be scammers. Number unknown to me. Called my landline today. Pre-recorded message with Female american voice. Said that my Bank card had been used twice today and if it was not me gave me the stale ring 1 or ring 2 options. Have not called them back and have no intention of doing so. Beware are SCAMMERS after Bank details.

Fraud Got a phone call from this number. I answered the call and nobody answered for about 20 seconds. Then a very thick Indian accent said "Hello, this is Jenny from BT Openreach.....". I replied "No your not...your a scammer" and hung up. I know and live in this dialing code and there are no BT Openreach offices in this area. Given the accent and that it is BT Openreach (which I don't even use) I suspect this is an Indian based scam call centre.

‘This call is from HM Customs & Excise regarding non payment of tax. You will be prosecuted blah blah blah’. Then invited to press 1 to speak to an operator, press 2 for payment. Could be worrying if you’re unaware of the scam. I just disconnected.

Plus theyve rung me 3 times this week. If you press 1 theyll ask for your bank details to 'ensure you DONT get charged' but theyll empty your account instead. DON'T GET CAUGHT OUT

Claimed to be energy survey company. When told we were not interested and to delete our details, the caller said "you c**t". Not the attitude to have regardless if it was genuine or spam.

I got a call this a recorded message saying that it was from HMRC and they had sent a letter to me which had been returned to them and they were about to start a prosecution against e and I should press the 1 keg to speak to an agent. I immediately hung up. This is an old scam which is apparently still doing the rounds.

Appears to be a scam re £900 use on persons visa card, wants you to press various numbers, I will report to my bank, on no account press any numbers suggested!

They call you and ask you to chose an option via an automated audio. This will likely re-route your call to a premium number that they own. It is not a legitimate caller so do not answer it.

01315105459 called me this evening from Edinburgh. She had an English accent and knew my name and marital status and number. She claimed to deal with policy's and worked for royal London. When asked where she got my private data info she said "from the same place I get everyone's, from Facebook where you clicked on a like and accepted marketing from us". I know I didn't! SCAM!!!!

I answered a call from this number, and heard a male at the other end of the line with the sound of other people in the room. He didn’t answer immediately, and after a short while asked if I could hear him, to which I, possibly foolishly replied “Yeah, yeah”. The phone was not put down at his end, but there was no reply when I tried to communicate at which point I ended the call.

Fraud This appeared to be a UK mobile number, not Russian as this site suggests. I was asked to renew my non-existent Sky TV insurance.

Don't know who called me from this number. I jumped out of bed when the phone rang but I didn't pick up as I didn't recognise the number. It was 7:36 am ffs! Even the sun was still in bed where I live in Greater Manchester and I do't even know where Thanet is, never mind why someone from there would be phoning me at an ungodly hour. I highly suspect this was a scam call.
