This is a scam called refering to Amazon money coming out of your bank account. DO NOT press any of the numbers that are given in the call.
Lady from 'Sterling' asking how a commercial office property search was going for a company I previously worked at. Think they bought the information or just found it on Linkedin - hadn't worked there in years & had never spoken with Sterling previously.
this is not stepchange debt charity! please block this number and report to action fraud. dont fall for the scam.
Silent call - rang twice within a couple of minutes. Number now blocked & reported to Ofcom.
Picked up the phone and got the dialling tone.
Text message received: GOV.UK: You are eligible for a discounted energy bill under the Energy Bills Support Scheme. You can apply here: https://energy.support-rebate.com This could be harmless, the link takes you to a .GOV.UK page that tells you discounts are made automatically, no need to apply or contact supplier. Just didn't expect a text message from .GOV!!

It said it was from NHS covid. That i had been in close contact with someone who tested positive for covis But required a card number for the postage of a test kit. So i am very confused to wheather i should reply to it.
I randomly got texted by this number saying "Hi, there." at 11:18, which was weird at first but then I texted "who is this?" and I haven't got a response yet. This website says it's an EE number but I don't get why they would say "Hi, there." with no reason of texting me, if anyone has any idea of who they might be, please tell me.
Claims to be from Virgin Media asking for outstanding bill. Checked with Virgin. It is a con.
Automated call claiming to be from you bank - said that they had 2 suspicious transactions on my account and to press 1 to speak to their team. I checked my account whilst on the phone and nothing showing up - so this is blatantly a phishing scam under the guise of your bank... beware
This mobile number messaged me says I had missed my delivery and to log onto their link. I had not ordered anything and was not expecting anything, I believe this is a CON! Do not link on the link for them to gain access to any of your details or your mobile.

This number has rang me 4 times in the last 2 hrs thet never leave a message not sure if it's spam or not but I haven't answered.
Caller said they were from NHS asking me to confirm some details and to ask if I was keeping an upcoming appointment. A verified NHS number (0800 678 3393) also called me yesterday with an automated machine asking me to confirm my appointment. When I said this to today's caller they said that there was a problem with their system and they needed to call again. Their tone sounded genuine. I will update this message if I find out otherwise.
Tried to call this number back and it was told I had dialled an incorrect number. It’s likely to be a nuisance call
Didn't recognise the number so let it go to answerphone no message left so I can only surmise it's someone trying to sell something as otherwise they would have left a message.

SCAM Only one person calls me on my landlinge and that's my brother but somehow it seems to have been circulated to scammers and/or on the dark web. This number called on my landline (getting lots from lots of false numbers for months now) and it was a silent call. I called it from my mobile (number withheld) and it wasn't a recognised number. Has to be dangerous!

The usual fake "bank" call about two payments from Amazon and somewhere else. I never buy from Amazon out of principle.
After endless repeated attempts from scammers trying to phish me. I dont answer strange numbers, especially ones that dont leave a message. This caller is not my doctor/ friend/work/family, so I simply have blocked them. unfortunately they pop up every day in the optimiser part of my phone despite me blocking their number.
Caller claimed to be from a charity which teaches English as a foreign language to impoverished populations and wanted to recruit me as a volunteer to have conversations with students - quote "they may ask you questions about your life" so I believe a long con to gain information about my identity. I asked where they got my number from and the caller pushed a button to play a recording of him stating it was because I'd shared my number with some sustainable homes organisation. The number identifies the message as RoyalMail contacting me. The mispelling of Royal Mail is reason enough to be suspiciouss. The asked me to click a link to redirect me to a web page to arrange delivery of a parcel they couldn't deliver. I have nothing on order and I am sure Royal Mail would not mispell their own name or contact me from a mobile. 100% a scam if like my elderly mother, you now look these strange numbers up online before responding.

Asked if I was still a tenant or in housing association and that they were something to do with housing repair service. I advised I was a homeowner, so she apologised and agreed to take my number off their list. I've no idea if they are legit or not.

07468578922 Called this morning purporting to be from 3 Mobile wanting to speak to me about my contract. I’m not with 3 Mobile and the caller's number isn’t either (it registered to a Chinese network). When I tried to question the caller they swiftly terminated the call. Suspected scam.
