Confident English-sounding voice rang, recorded message, saying two amounts of money were to leave my account, expressing concern that they were fraudulent. Told me to dial 1 to find out more. I did not. Sure it is a scam.

Automated information stating "you owe HMRC tax, if you do not pay you will go to jail" alarming at best.

This number tried to call me twice. I don’t know who they are. I did not answer the first time, the second time I made my boyfriend answer and they hung up on him as soon as he said hello. I then messaged them saying “who is this?” They responded at midnight saying “He’ll be there in the morning to meet you, code on the gate is the same. Get to bed!” I blocked their number as soon as they sent that message. It has really freaked me out and I’m scared that someone is going to come to my house.

A Asian guy called saying I have been awarded a 30% discount for being a loyal customer O2 customer. i Left O2 over a couple of years ago, so I checked the number out online while he was talking and the number was listed as a scam call, so knew it was a scam. SCAM SPAM, sent a text message from a seperate number (+44 7851 800695) asking me to call as its my child and their phone is smashed and their friend gave them a new one and the speaker isnt working on the phone they are texting off? my child is 8. seems suspicious.

Automated "suspicious activity" message, mentioned £1000 foreign transfer. I let them talk to my answering machine and ignored. Interestingly, had another call 10 mins later, this time from 01732 896820 - they hung up immediately my machine kicked in. Probably the same scammer using different numbers??

Someone saying my Amazon account had been hacked and they were from customer services. Tried to get me to log into my bank on my phone.

Call about insurance policy for domestic equipment (which isn't covered) expiring then telling you your current insurance you do have is quadruple in cost when it is for life of item covered.
