I have just received a call, a person, with an Asian accent, telling me that they were calling on behalf of my internet provider! I had a call from 08004118899 trying to persuade me to buy plan to cover a Hotpoint washing machine as according to them my warranty has expired. Since I have never registered this machine and I doubt the respected shop from which it was bought would give them my details I was suspicious of their company and proposed service. Looking at these comments it would appear I am correct in resisting their advances.

Rang this morning, but showed as as an International (02??) call so I ignored it. When I went back into the phone to see my unanswered calls, it showed a sthis number.

Called asking for my partner so asked how that got my number and they hung up. They have called me twice now and I have now blocked the number.
