Fraud Call claimed to checking on possible fraudulent payments from a bank card (one to Amazon, and one international), and inviting me to press 1 to continue. But as it was left on answering machine this could not be done. No card provider specified and they didn't address me by name. On checking, no such payments have been made from any of my cards.
I have hsd this message on answer phone several times over the last couple of months. It says someone has tryed to take £300 out of my amazon account and transfer £1,200 to another country and wants me to contact them. I check my account and no money has gone. They are conmen looking to get my bank detailes.

It's an automated call like a robot. They said they're calling about a repair iv reported to my landlord? I simply replied no and the robot understood that and just said alright bye. Weird but could trick someone and scam them somehow.

I was unable to answer the call from this number because my screen was playing up. It did not light up in any way so I couldn't see how to answer or anything. A few minutes later I needed to make a call so I spent some time getting the screen to light up in order to dial out. Surprisingly this number was still calling me. I answered second time when they rang back and was shouted at why do you hand up. They then demand to return box? herself within 3 working days to an address I didn't even catch they introduced themselves as being from Microsoft this call would have scared my mother had she taken it. Be careful it’s a scamI they send a text saying my new number save it with no name. I text back and asked if they were . Next got a couple of short text about hope your day is better than mine. Then a text asking to send £1500.00 because they needed the money and because number was changed it would take 24 hrs for verification . Promised to pay the money back tomorrow.
