Fraud Recorded message purporting to BE HMRC referring to a sent letter and threatening further action if I did not comply. No previous communication received.

Can't prove it but seems sketchy. I don't even live in the UK and don't business or anything. Not a single reason for someone from the UK to call me.

I was called from this number today. I did not answer and they did not leave a message on my answering machine. The number that appeared initially on my telephone was not the same as this one. This is clearly a scam.

This is a TAXES / HMRC SCAM - Call says that will take legal action.

Very rude. Very bad. Wouldn’t tell me who was calling. Just wanted me to confirm my name with a yes or no. When I would not say yes or no and just kept asking who was calling, she said well you can piss off! and put the phone down on me. Don’t ever say yes or no on the phone - they record it and use it as approval for trying to get into accounts etc.

This number is calling saying they are HMRC notifying a fake fine and trying to pass you with an agent. Dont do it, it is scam

This phone number phoned me today i answered an it was an automated voice with no mention of who they are calling from not even a name of a bank, telling me that my card was used early this morning that large amounts of money taken from my account, £400 on ebay and £700 on paypal as they know i not used those amounts before an gave me the options, 1 to accept the amount that it was me, 2 it wasnt me and i forgot the 3rd option as i hung up an checked my bank account an nothing was pending

Cold-calling scam regarding "financial market investments", likely based overseas as the caller's proferred name did not seem to correlate with their accent. Nervous laughter and unconvincing denial from the caller when accused of being a scammer and asked if they were based in Kolkata. Avoid.

There trying to scam you out of money and DO NOT belong to any of these companies there claim to be. SCAM - initial recording warned my electric was going to be shut off in a few minutes. When I transferred to a "representative" it was what sounded like an Indian man. He asked my name and verified my address. Funny thing is, my electric bill is in a family members name. Someone in Hong Kong, China used this phone number as job reference check purpose. This person tried to deceive the company for salary with his Fake CV, experiences and reference letter.

Left a message saying that there had been suspicious activity on our Amazon account, and to "press 1" to talk to the manager. We don't have an Amazon account!!
