A woman called qbout washing machine insurance which she said was running out but the machine is still under warranty. Almost certainly a scam.

The representative was courteous and empathetic, and took the time to listen to my financial concerns and understand my unique situation. Another damn nuisance call. Some recorded woman's voice trying to convince me there are two fraudulent transactions on my bank account, press number one to get details etc. As it happened, I'd just been checking my bank account online, but I wouldn't have believed her anyway, as that's not the way my bank would contact me. This pathetic scam originated from a number in Knighton, a small town in Powys about ten miles from my house. Whoever you are, try and get a life!
