Recorded message from Bank Security (didn't specify which bank). 2 suspicious transactions, first for £700something by International transfer.... Gave up at this point and hung up as it's one of many we've had all very similar wording.

This number is from scammers in Birmingham wanting your bank details to repay you home appliance warranty overpayments that do not exist. Usually get three to four calls per week from same people using different numbers. They tell you that you have overpaid and they are from the refund department and can only pay your refund directly into your bank account DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY DETAILS. Fraud This number claimed to be from HMRC Fraud department and I had just committed a criminal offence!! Needless to say, it is total rubbish. HMRC will never ever phone you, full stop!! and a mobile number is a bit pathetic anyway. Do not respond to this number!!!!

Seems to be linked to a scam/malware. My phone has sent this number 192 texts but this is not shown in my phone log but shows up on my network provider's records.

My wife answered. Foreign male called asking to speak to XXX. No security questions asked. Claimed he was from Microsoft. When told we were on TPS, he became argumentative. He clearly hadn't heard of TPS. When asked to remove our details from their database he became aggressive and said he would disconnect our phone at our address. He knew our address because he read it out! He then put the phone down when I said in the background we were connecting to the police.

SCAM - AVOID AT ALL COSTS Absolutely a scam. Caller knew my name. Said scammers in Bulgaria have been using my name to trade & there's £88k sitting in an account he wants to transfer to me. All I had to do was download anydesk.com. No thanks. This is how scammers connect to your computer, take control of it and steal your money. When I hung up he called me back from a slightly different number offended that I had hung up. DO NOT ENGAGE WITH THESE PEOPLE.
