SCAM Automated call pretending that my number has been registered for tax evasion. As if a robot caller was how the Government would notify you! XD
I think this is a scam, caller claiming to be from BT saying issue with security on internet asking for BT ID, have blocked this number
I have had approx 3 calls from EE and I am almost certain I will not be renewing with them when my contracts expires later in the year. SCAM Pretended to be from the security department of Virgin Media alleging illegal activity on our internet connection. Unprofessional telephone manner and very unconvincing. Just hang up!
I was called from 0121 554 8370 who claimed to be from virgin media stating that my internet had been highjacked from outside the property. When asking the caller questions she was not able to provide adequate information so I ended the call as I became suspicious as the questions they would have knowledge of by looking at our account details. If this was a genuine call from virgin media, I suggest they have the details of the account in front of them before they make the call.

Press 2 to speak to an adviser, or alternatively save yourself money and put the phone down. The majority of people could deal with the banks etc themselves thus saving themselves the fees that these claim companies would charge.
