Silent call

Asked for gold and silver to be removed from house, reported to police

Went to ansaphone. No message left.

Call every day asking for someone else, despite me telling them multiple times they have the wrong number

This number calls me everyday at varied times, and has done so for several months. Occasionally, I answer, always with the intention of asking them to stop calling me, but there is only silence at the other end of the line for a few seconds before they terminate the call. Very sinister and extremely irritating. What can I do to stop this?

Phones at least twice a day for a week. Nobody on the other end. Presume they are block calling and when the first person answers, the other calls drop out... ?

Had a call from this number and the guy said his name was Charley from a company called connex by the line cut off

To STOP .......We were receiving calls on a daily basis from 0161 237 7500 and the message gives you 0161 236 2565 to be removed from call list. When you dial this number - it does not connect. After some digging on the internet (No1 Accident Claims Manchester) I found another number 0844 844 9199 - does not connect but hey oh two emails:- [email?protected] and [email?protected] Sent them a strongly worded email to get my number removed. Lets see whether it works!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

had cold call from this number trying to frighten me with need to have an alarm system due to statistics of burglaries in my area and risk of fire. I was called by a lady from Meme Makeovers from this number. A lady offered my a photoshoot for a competition I had won from a wedding exhibition where I had left my details. She subsequently was incredibly rude and pretty much accused me of lying when I told her that her sales rep had not told me about a deposit of £35 and when I told her to call me the next day so I could think about it before committing, became pretty aggressive - complete disaster!! This seems to be the latest scam whereby the caller tel no comes up as local to you and you answer assuming it s your dentist or child s school etc so 01525 is for Leighton Buzzard etc The give away is its always a scouser accent When you say hold on you are not a Leighton buzzard no they hang up They mentioned the accident I never had ... Sighs ... Had two calls now I answer and just quietly leave phone down and let them run up call charges

Like last commenter yes they use a network of number local and otherwise in the hope u ll pick up the phone They have been phoning my house phone for months with an automated man message And now they have my mobile number Great! Too much of our information is easily accessed by these people under the credit rules What happened to data protection law?!? Don t answer them tell them nothing and completely ignore them

Called 4 times in one day! I thought about calling back but glad I didn t! I google every unknown number that calls me now. As of late, I am getting unknown calls every other day. I m not sure who I gave these details to, but no doubt at least my phone number has been sold to scammers and or telemarketers.
