This is around the 10th call in a month using same script from different numbers (all now blocked). Other numbers had reports describing similar calls, supposedly to settle claim for percentage of settlement. No mention of my insurance carrier. I got more thSomeone keeps calling me from this phone number (I am a Japanese resident and I am in Japan) and lobbying me to buy cryptocurrency, please be careful.
Missed call Have had several calls from this number but have not answered them or they have been a missed call. I suspected this was a scam because my daughter phoned the number and a message said this number cannot receive calls.
The guy (very strong asian accent but his name is "Jason") said he was from my mobile provider, so I asked who, and he said EE, to which I replied I am not with EE as it doesn't work well in my area, he then said I was lying to him. He proceeded to say he could see everything etc and was kind of creepy, usually I don't swear at call centre staff, even dodgy ones, but this guy was creepy!
